We have had him round here since early spring and have used him for dragging calves , he can drag a big calf to the branding fires, catching a wild one outside , shipping and receiving cattle and just prowling pastures, Dan will go wherever you point him. He has always been used in rough rocky country all over west Texas and New Mexico. Dan gets around in the rocks like a goat. He is an excellent big country ranch horse because that’s where he has been his whole life. Every time his foot touches the ground he is generally on a rock. Dan is accustomed to cold weather and is haired up for the winter. Dan rides the best , smooth traveling , never gets rattled by anything. You can drag calves on him and hand the kids or grandkids his rein and let them drag some too he will take care of them. He is sure stout by the saddle horn. If you need an outstanding ranch gelding that is the same every day with no issues, that anyone can ride, here he is. You are not gonna show Dan anything ranch related he hasn’t been doing for years. He is Zan parr bar/ Hollywood dunnit bred! Dan is 100 % sound and sane! He is up to date on health papers, shoeing, vaccinations, teeth have been floated and he was beaned.
