Our focus is to provide an atmosphere of trust, learning, growth, responsibility, and accountability. We balance good land stewardship with strong production goals in line with the TEI Mission: “To manage Turner lands in an economically sustainable and ecologically sensitive manner while promoting the conservation of native species.” Seeking a highly motivated, self-starting individual to be the primary steward for approximately half of the ranch resources. This position requires the ability to work alone and in a team setting. The primary responsibilities of this position are: animal care and health, grazing management, fencing infrastructure and equipment maintenance, equipment operation, well maintenance, record keeping, and reporting. Qualifications: • A Working Knowledge of Livestock Care and Low Stress Handling • Ability to Balance Forage Resources in a Sustainable Manner • Knowledge of Watering Systems • Problem Solving Skills • Strong Communication Skills- Verbal, Written, and Email • Planning/Organizing Skills – Ability to Use Time Efficiently • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office or Willingness to Learn • A Strong Work Ethic Coupled With Self-Discipline and Dependability • Integrity- Willingness to Take Responsibility and to Be Accountable for Their Stewardship • We are Willing to Train the Right Person in Possession of Outstanding Character Competitive Pay and Excellent Benefits including: Excellent Health Insurance, Paid Time Off, Housing, Utilities, Work Vehicle, 401K.
