Description:
Tuffy is a 6 year old, 14.3 hand, 1150#, Palomino Ranch Gelding. Tuffy is built like the ole’ sturdy Quarter horse, thick as he is tall, and very stout. Has good bone and foot. He has some of the best ranch and rope horse breeding on his papers, Tee J’s and Drifwood’s. This horse came off a ranch south of us that also has a lot of rocks and tough country. He has a lot of outside miles gathering and checking cows in some steep rough country. He has also packed salt to some remote waters. Tuffy has had to rope a couple outside but roping has not been a big part of his job. We have been tracking and roped some slow stuff in the pens and been logging him and he can go that direction if you like. There are not many better in the rocks than him, doesn’t look for boogers, and nothing seems to bother him outside. He is gentle, stays gentle, and easy to get along with.
