Description:
Unique Monte Foreman Balanced Ride Saddle made by Merlyn "Slim" Fallis, of Fallis Saddlery started in 1951. The Balanced Ride Saddles are unique for their "forward hung stirrups" which are designed to hang farther forward than conventional stirrups to increase the rider’s balance. This saddle belonged to my mother, who no longer rides. It is in fair condition, with some obvious wear but still usable and a nice piece of saddle history.
