Description:
We are looking for someone to help out at our ranch in the Texas panhandle.

This job will include a wide range of duties including the following:

Saddling and riding horses for head trainer

Washing and grooming

Doctoring horses

Managing our barn and herd of approx 50 horses

Handling all ages of horses

Halter breaking yearlings



In addition we run yearlings and cow calf so when work on the ranch is required you will have the opportunity to work and ride outside as well.



There will also be maintenance from time to time including helping grounds employee mow yard or fix fence.



You will not be responsible for daily feeding and cleaning stalls.



We work all week and have Sundays off. Hours are flexible for appointments or running to town as needed. We do alternate every fourth Sunday among all ranch employees to be responsible for feeding and cleaning stalls.



This job can include as much riding, working with young horses, cattle, and roping as you wish. These above responsibilities however are our only requirements. This is not a cowboy job.
