A sure "nuff cowboy pair of spurs made by the late Jerry Cates and are marked CATES 834. The silver is good, do not show much wear. The rowels do have some play in them, but far from too much wear. This is a very good example of a pair of Mr. Jerry’s work. They sell with an outstanding pair of BIG BEND SADDLERY STRAPS. 2 1/8" rowels, 3 3/8" heel openings, 1 1/8" shanks, 2 5/8" shanks.
