She acts just like an old ranch gelding. She’s very broke and rides like a cutter. She carries her head nice, neck reins, spins, moves off your leg, does roll backs, side passes and has a good stop. She’s absolutely sweet and kind and loves people. She will stall or tie right next to other horses without issue. You can pony colts or broncs off her and she’ll never try to kick or get crabby. She has great cowboy manners. She’s an awesome ranch horse and has been used like a gelding for every task imaginable including gathering out of the brush, penning, sorting, roping and doctoring sicks, dragging calves to the fire, looking for strays, checking fences and loading trucks. She’s been ridden at a pre conditioning yard and will trot pens all day and opens and closes gates with ease. The boys there even used her to pull each other on a intertube dallied to her down the canal in the summer. Truly nothing bothers her. She’s a finished sorting horse and is very cowy and a blast to ride. She’s won quite a bit at the weekly jackpots. She has also been used for ranch rodeos. She’s been in indoor and outdoor pens and she’s good with all the commotion and noise. She’s been trail ridden all over and will go anywhere you point her. She’ll ride through any kind terrain or brush you come across, up and down the steepest hills, through water and even down the road. She’s been on big organized rides, on family rides and on solitary rides alone. She’s always the same. She’s used to traffic, tractors, ATV’s, motorcycles, bicycles, joggers, dogs and donkeys. Emmie is a really cool mare that will suit about anyone. We love her and she will only be sold to a great home.
