The bit is marked Paulson 2013 5 inside the cheek piece. Chris has been building spurs, bits, and cowboy hardware since 2007. He became a full time maker in 2012. He won 1st place in the buckle division at the Cowboy True contest held in Wichita Falls, Texas. The bit is steel and is mounted with engraved nickel silver. This bit has a longer mouth piece. Please check measurements below. This would be a nice bit to use.
