• RANCH MANAGER

o DESCRIPTION OF OPERATION

• Family owned ranch for 60 years

• Lincoln County, New Mexico at base of West Capitan Mountains

• Deeded and Forest Permits

• Registered Angus

• Approximately 200 Mother Cows

• Hunting Program

• Managed and Handled by an Outfitter

• Elk, Mule Deer, Antelope and Turkey

• Real Estate Development

• Ranchos de Caballos

o JOB DESCRIPTION

• Manage the entire operation

• Management of Registered Angus Herd

• Work with the Angus Association on registrations

• Marketing

o Support and lead Social Media programs

o Direct Mail

o Personal Contacts

• Genetics and Breeding

• Overall Management of Cow Herd

• Conditioning of weaned Calves and Bulls

o Replacement Heifers

o Bull sales

• Communication, coordination and compliance with the United States Forest Service

• Communication, coordination and compliance with Farm Services Agency and Government Conservation Programs

• Oversee Outfitter and hunting program

• Maintenance of entire Operation including improvements

• Oversee and Manage one support person

• Preference given to College Degrees in Animal Science

• Accomplished in use of Technology

• Preference given to knowledge and participation in the Angus Programs

o COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Annual salary range of $42,000 to $55,000 depending on experience

• Furnish allowance for housing or furnish a house

• 50% of Health Insurance premium for individual coverage

• Vacation-2 weeks per year

• Pickup provided for work related activities

• Continuing education with Angus Programs

• Commencement date as soon as possible

• Employment opportunities for spouse available
