She is our most reliable ride when it comes to trails, arena riding or any type of riding. She is super smooth to ride, responsive to leg cues and is great around dogs & 4wheelers. Any level of rider and all ages can ride her! Not marish at all - Has the temperament & attitude of a gelding. She has had extensive arena riding and mountain trail riding. Been around dead elk & blood. Kahlua is a well-built mare with great confirmation; standing a solid 16 hands and that can go all day. She is sound, safe and has a very willing attitude. She does not mind if you go riding alone. She would make for a great 4-H horse for someone to learn on! Neck reins (bridle-less as well), side passes, opens gates, hobbles, crosses water, ponies horses, drag logs, rides bareback, great for farrier, clips, bathes, loads with ease, walks out on the trail, flags/tarps. Currently working on lead changes. Easy to catch and is a real sweetheart to be around and easy to get along with. We picked her up off winter pasture this spring and she was the exact same horse as she was when we dropped her off. We have had her since she was 3 years-old. The only reason we are selling her, is that we have more young ones coming up. She is ready to take to the hills, ride in the arena, or take out on the ranch. Ready to go with new shoes!
