From the time you catch her til you put her away she is willing, capable and happy to do or try whatever you ask of her. She likes attention, while remaining respectful of your space on the ground. She stands great to brush, bathe, clip, saddle, mount and waits for your cue to walk off after mounting. She is confident to ride out by herself and is equally good leading or following a group. A very experienced trail mule she has been ridden in the steepest mountains of Montana, the deep forests of the south, rocky areas, pastures and arenas. She knows how to go up and down rough areas and does not rush thru tough terrain, she crosses water, bridges, downed trees..Whatever you ask of her she goes where you point her. She is good with dogs, wildlife, machinery, 4 wheelers, and tarps, loads and hauls easily. Indie is very controllable, stays between the reins and is responsive to all leg cues. She is smooth riding, glides across the ground at the lope and has a super jog trot. Her neckrein is great and you can easily guide her loping thru the field, arena or moving through tight trails. She stops, backs, sidepasses easily. We have also used her working around the ranch, ponying, dragging logs, horn hunting, moving / gathering cattle and going through gates. She is a mule you start riding with a big smile and end the day the same way! Indie has a great attitude with unlimited ability that anyone can enjoy for a lifetime of happy trails.
