Robert is a bit and spur maker originally from Amarillo, Texas. His work is illustrated in Bits & Spurs Motifs, Techniques and Modern Makers by Ned & Jody Martin. Robert has been building bits, spurs, and cowboy hardware since 1994. The spurs are marked Evans 082. The steel has a natural patina and they are mounted with eighteen pieces of nickel silver. These spurs have new rowels, new rowel pins, new swings, and new hangers so they are ready to go again. There are marks and wear on the mountings and wear on the bottom edge of the outside heel bands. These spurs would be a great pair of spurs to use and they now have a lot of life left in them.
