Description:
J&J Cattle Co is looking to fill a long term employee position. We precondition large numbers of light weight, high risk calves purchased from local salebarns. This is a fast paced job with new cattle arriving daily. So our employees must be highly motivated and able to work well with other crew members. Current crew members need very little direction and take care of their day to day responsibilities on their own. The primary job duties will be to check and doctor cattle and to work fresh cattle. It may also include feeding, fixing fence, maintenance and other ranch work. All our current employees use four wheelers provided to check cattle and cattle are treated by using dart guns. We understand the importance of family and strive to get the days work done efficiently and get everybody back home a decent time. Hours are Monday-Friday full day, Saturday-half day. Sundays-primarily off (rotation of working about 3 hours one out of every 5 or 6 Sundays. No current housing available. Non smokers. Call for more details.
