The spurs are marked under the buttons Crockett Adamson. Crockett mounted Adamson spurs are very desirable to collectors. Bill bought inventory from the Crockett and Kelly bit and spur company when they went out of business. Bill is listed in Bits and Spurs, Motifs, Techniques and Modern Makers by Ned and Jody Martin. Bill was awarded spur maker of the year in 2002 by the Academy of Western Artists and has been building full time since 1988. The spurs are steel with a brown finish and are in unworn condition. They are single mounted with nickel silver. There is some light pitting in the steel. This is a lighter weight pair of spurs. This would be a nice pair of spurs to add to a collection from a very desirable maker or to wear.
