Has been used on the ranch for 2 years and in the arena as well. He is soft in the face and ribs, rides collected, and is very willing. Big stopper, correct turn around, and an easy mover. Branded lots of calves, doctored cattle outside, and is started heeling steers too. Luke is a great traveler and very pleasant to ride in the mountains. Our 6 year old daughter has ridden him a lot this summer and he is always kind and patient for her. He will watch a cow and has plenty of ability to do it correctly. He could go on to make a high caliber heel horse, or would make a nice calf horse as well. Very unique individual that has enough sting to make a fancy performance horse, yet is kind and gentle enough to fit anybody. "Luke" is very kind to handle on the ground too. Polite to shoe, bath, clip, load, stand tied quietly, hobble, etc. He has a basic respect that makes all these things simple to him.
