She has an excellent handle and will drag her butt in the ground when she stops, and the best part is she is super gentle! She is extremely well bred, by an own son of Doc OLena and out of an own daughter of Docs Lynx. Fancy is AQHA registered as “Lena Peaches” # 3458200. She was broke as a 3 year old and put into cutting training. She won some money in the cutting pen and was then ridden on the ranch for several years before being thrown into the broodmare band. Fancy was ridden periodically over the years by the children and grandchildren of her second owner, staying gentle even if not ridden but only a few times a year. She has not lost any of her handle and is quick and catty and fun to ride. The only reason she is for sale is because he got out of the breeding business and we bought all of his remaining mares. We threw a saddle on her after having over a year off and she rode right off with no problems at all. Fancy is 14.3 hh and extremely cute, a flashy sorrel with a flaxen mane and tail and some white on her face. She is 21 years old but you would never know it to look at her or ride her. She is sound to ride and breed and has plenty of life left. Fancy has absolutely no buck at all, and rides quietly on a loose rein. She has an extremely good handle and stop, is very responsive and quick on her feet and has plenty of go when you ask her for it. Fancy has a smooth jog and rocking horse lope, will sidepass, work off your leg, and do perfect rollbacks. She is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture, crosses water with no problem, and isn’t spooky. Fancy is suitable for advanced beginner adults or experienced youth, and would even make a nice little playday horse for the kids. She can be ridden out by herself or with other horses, and doesn’t mind being separated from the group. Fancy has also been ridden alongside the road and in traffic and isn’t bothered by it.
