She is one of the last and youngest granddaughters of Gay Bar King. She is healthy, sound, breeding sound and ready to breed. We were wiped out by a tornado last spring and our stallion was gravely injured. It was mid-summer before we got him back from Oklahoma State University (where they did a fantastic job of saving his life). Therefore, ‘Queen’ was never bred last year. She previously had a very nice palomino colt by our stallion. We are still trying to dig out from the tornado (an EF4 that hit us squarely), so we must sell Queen and several other horses. She is in excellent condition and should start cycling any day. We also have several outstanding prospects for sale from 1 to 4 years old, all Foundation / cow bred. Some are very well started that ride gentle, are sound and have no bad habits. We have a few horses over 4 that have been ridden extensively on the ranch and on the trails in the Arbuckle Mountains of southern Oklahoma. All are reasonably priced. Wolfe Ranch Quarter Horses has been breeding high quality Foundation / cow bred horses for over 50 years. We feature modern cutting and ranch breeding but breed for more size and substance than the tiny cutting-bred horses we now see all too often. Most of our prospects will mature 15 to 15.2 and will weigh 1250# or more, will work a cow and are stout enough to tie on to one.
