Description:
SE Montana ranch couple have just purchased a ranch in west central B.C. and have available a position for manager / caretaker. We are only there ourselves part of the time and have a residence on another ranch 20 miles away that we purchased in 2010. You would oversee both ranches. Together we think they will run 250 to 300 cows. You will have a beautiful home, nice shop and newer machinery. You will be required to maintain the buildings and equipment and keep track of the cattle. You must be willing and able to ride as we try to do what we can horseback. We do use ATV’s sometimes. You must not mind fencing and doing some chainsaw work. We provide an excellent salary and want our people to run some of their own cows. We will help you buy cows if you need us to. Town is 80 miles. School is a problem and the churches are an hour or two away. We don’t want you to work on Sundays except if you have to. It is a great neighborhood. We are looking for the same caliber of people that we have at home.
