Description:
Large multi-state cattle operation seeking manager for East Texas ranches.

We are looking for a full-time employee who is interested in LONG TERM employment and opportunity for growth and advancement within our company. The employee must be experienced in cow/calf management and calving out 1st time heifers.

The East Texas ranches are currently running 400 cows and 1300 bred heifers, with plans for additional growth. This is a challenging operation and is NOT for beginners.



ALL INTERESTED APPLICANTS MUST HAVE ALL OF THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Extensive experience working with cattle

2. Extensive experience with calving

3. Must be able to “doctor” the cattle

4. Must be able to rope cattle

5. Experience with pasture management

6. Experience with grazing and feeding practices

7. Must be able to weld and have mechanical experience

8. Must have valid driver’s license (CDL preferred)

9. Must be able to run small tractors

10. Must be able to build and repair fence

11. Experience with water system repair

12. Supervisory skills, along with delegation skills, are a must

13. Must be detail oriented and must be able to keep all records organized and available

14. Clean, honest and hardworking

15. WILLING TO UNDERGO A BACKGROUND CHECK



All applicants must be willing to bring at least 3 of their own horses and be willing to work long hours.
