Description:
155 bred heifers all born and raised in the mountains within 150 miles of Meeker, Colorado. Heifers were time bred AI to low birth weight angus sire Yardley Bold Brave X388. This sire had a PAP score of 35 after a summer above 9,000 ft. in Walden, Colorado. 65 heifers are scanned pregnant to calve in mid February. 95 heifers are bull bred to half brothers sired by the ABS bull Absolute. These bulls were all born from first calf heifers and summered as calves at 9,000 feet. The bull breds will calve March 1 - April 30. All heifers were palpated pregnant on October 26. They were also vaccinated with Bovishield Gold FP5VL, Scourguard, and C&D. Back poured with Vetrimec.
