My family and I are blessed, honored and humbled by you all. We have accepted an offer and wish you all the very best! My name is Lee Starritt, I am 34 years old from New Mexico with a wonderful wife and five year old daughter who both love to work and ride. We are a hardworking Christian family who enjoy working with livestock and spending time together. We are currently looking for a progressive operation with traditional values to become a part of and build a future. As you will see from my resume, I have a wide range of experience and skill sets. We are very people oriented, have an eye for quality and would like a place to build toward our future. We are not afraid of hard work or long hours and love to work as a family. I have a well-rounded background in large and small cow calf operations in New Mexico and Arizona as well as colt starting, horse training and a bit of yearling experience. One of these ranches in NM had a small herd of “numbered” cattle, they had stopped registering them, but we treated them as such. We have spent the last few years devoting ourselves to ministry at Christian camps with horse programs managing 30+head of horses; and I have day worked as time allowed. We have greatly missed ranching and cow work and are eager to get back to it. I also have heavy equipment operating experience with backhoes, loaders, skid steer, extended boom lifts, forklifts, road grader, dump trucks and tractors. I can use a computer, keep records and generate reports as needed. I think that the best way to work stock is at an even pace as gentle as possible and as firm as necessary. I would really appreciate the opportunity to join your team and would do my best learn and to serve the business. My wife is also an EMT-I and I have wildland fire fighting experience.
