Description:
Hand made bit by early Texas maker James Oscar Bass. 6" cheek, 5" mouth with a 1 1/4" tall port. Original silver piece on one side, other side is missing but solder is still there. Natural patina. Marked "MADE.BY.J.O. BASS.TULIA. TEX. NO.85." on left cheek. Bit shows many years of cowboy use and wear. It bent some and twisted some. BUT, it is an early Tulia marked bit. I will stand behind the bit, the silver and the marking to be genuine. Very hard to find bit for your collection. 1400 shipped priority mail. Call, text or e-mail
