Bob has been featured in many publications including Old Cowboy Saddles & Spurs by Gretchen and Mike Graham. There was also an article about him in the March 2010 issue of Western Horseman. It is marked Bob Marrs, Maker, Amarillo, Texas and numbered 3884. The saddle has a rough out seat and fenders, basket stamped skirts and cantle, and swells. The horn is wrapped with rawhide. There is a rope burn under the rawhide wrap but it will be fine with the new wrap. It has a Will James rawhide covered wood tree and the tree is sound. It is lined with real sheep skin. The saddle has new stirrup leathers, new D hobbles, new stirrup leather hobbles, new latigo keepers, and new treads on the 3” bell stirrups. The saddle shows normal signs of use. There is a repair on the edge of the left seat jockey shown in the close up pictures. It does not come with a front or back cinch. The saddle has been thoroughly cleaned and conditioned. This is a quality well-built saddle from a legendary maker and it has a lot of use left in it.
