We are looking to bring a team member on full time.



Expectations: we are looking for someone who, first and foremost, looks for ways to serve the needs of his team members. This individual must be able to understand the goals of the operation(s) and be willing to innovate and contribute immediately. This role is a "Utility" position; therefore, this individual must be able to perform tasks for multiple managers as well as flexibly transition from task to task depending on seasonality and project basis. We are looking for someone to be committed for the long term. Our operation requires a diverse set of skills from true cowboy work to equipment operation to record management.



Attributes: Must be technologically savvy. Should rope & ride. Ability to learn and operate most equipment. Ability to maintain and service most equipment. Ability to take responsibility for projects, seek advice and carry such projects to completion. Attentive to detail. Ability to work through conflict. Willingness to perform tasks outside of what people call "cowboying."



Technicals: Jobs will include but not be limited to farming, irrigation, ranch hand work, cowboy tasks, record keeping, and so forth. Compensation shall be negotiable. Other benefits shall include top-of-the-line health insurance, 401k-match, possible ranch vehicle or stipend, employee beef supply, paid vacation (pending completion of probationary period).

We currently have NO employee housing, although housing may come up pending availability.



About Us: We operate on approximately 40k irrigated acres plus our seasonal permit ground. We run anywhere from 1500 to 3000 head of mother cows. We farm all of our own hay for winter feed and sell a majority to open market. We also grow wild rice and grain as rotation and cash crops.

We are a family owned and run, commercial size operation.
