Description:
Flying U Cattle is a family operation and has an immediate position available for a full time employee in the Sandhills of Nebraska to help run our 900 head cowherd.. Duties include all aspects of ranching and ranch maintenance. We preform many tasks horseback but will use a UTV at times when necessary. Duties include but are not limited to the following:



Breeding Cattle - AI

Calving

Branding

Roping

Fencing

Starting Colts

Backgrounding Calves

Feeding

Haying

Equipment Maintenance

Well Maintenance

Facility Maintenance

Corral Building

Welding

Any other Job that comes up on the Operation



Individuals are expected to help preform any and all tasks that come up on the operation as we believe that everyone helps do everything. If you are incapable of riding young horses, doctoring calves in the pasture, calving cows/heifers without assistance, or are unwilling to spend some time in the tractor please do not apply.



Housing is provided and salary is negotiable based on experience. An individual with a CDL or the ability to get one would be preferable.
