Gary Maher of Maher Saddlery trained under "Dale Harwood". The "Harwood" tree took a year to get and the cost for the tree alone was $550. Gary built saddles for Ted Turner & Turner Ranches, among many others. The saddle is not quite broken in yet. I have drug calves to the fire in this rig, ridden colts on up to high withered thoroughbred horses and it fits most every horse very well. The stirrups are very free swinging, you can get to the front end easily in a storm if need be. The seat is extremely comfortable and the craftsmanship is excellent. The price of this saddle today would be $6,000 with the breast collar, bucking rolls and a one to two year wait. The saddle is in excellent shape and meticulouly maintained, you are getting a great saddle at a discount price. I am confident you will be very pleased with your selection.
