Description:
1 Male cow dog pup for sale, whelped on October 18th, 2009. Ready for new working cattle home & ready for more training! 1st & 2nd puppy shots done as well as his first Rabbies shot given March 2010. Tail docked. He is currently learning cows with 4 other working siblings & his parents and grandsire as his teachers! Five generations of stock dogs that have worked on our ranch! This pup is best suited to work cattle. He’ll have plenty of ability to run and cover the miles. He is a very unique light tan/white/gray brindle pup! Selling currently for $400. Med. short hair. He learned how to navigate through our cattle twice a day for calving season winter/spring 2010. Has already shown interest in chasing the calves! Learning how to help me move my colts and horses around too. He will get some time out on a cattle drive soon in June! I have been breeding and mixing my own brand of cow dog. This pup is a blend of Heeler (both red & blues), Australian Shepherd (also known as "Aussies"), Border Collie and Black Lab. And yes, their half Lab grandsire works cattle too! He has the heart and soul of a hard working cattle dog with short, sleek hair, big bone and plenty of herding and driving instincts. His prodgeny have that same desire to work.
