Description:
(relisted) Caretaker wanted for remote northern Nevada ranch. Nearest services are 90 miles away, with limited access in the winter. Ranch has solar power, wood and propane heat, spring water, landline phone (no cell service). Satellite internet and TV can be installed. Light work includes routine maintenance and repair of housing (knowledge of plumbing, electrical, solar power would be beneficial) checking water, some irrigating and fencing, feeding and watering small numbers of stock. Housing and utilities provided plus small wage. This is not a cowboy job, but pasture/feed for 2 to 3 horses can be provided. (No stallions.) Potentially ideal for a retired person/couple or veteran with some income of their own.
