Assistant Ranch Manager



Seeking an Assistant Ranch Manager in the Northwest, preferably living in Montana now, to perform the hands-on duties related to a 4,500 acre cattle ranch outside Missoula. Ranch Assistant will be the right hand man to the long time Ranch Manager. Must have excellent cattle and ranching experience including but not limited to; performing calving duties, feeding, supplementing minerals, haying, pasture management, rotating stock, basic doctoring abilities, and maintaining health and growth of cattle in a safe and respectful manner. Must have working knowledge and ability to operate all ranching and farming equipment including irrigation systems which consist of wheel lines and electric pumps.



The ranch currently has 600 head of Angus and will be implementing a state of the art Wagyu program.



Housing is provided on-site, excellent health insurance, a ranch truck and beef provided for the right long-term, hard working candidate. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Children and pets allowed.
