We are serious competitors and even though Pongo "thinks" he is 10 feet tall, unfortunately he is not. Pongo is looking for a youth owner who has learned to ride on a beginner horse and is now looking for the next step up. He is gentle but not a babysitter. I would recommend his new owner be at least 8yrs old with a reasonable amount of riding experience. Pongo would also be very suitable for a small adult. Pongo has been hauled to all kinds of events. He is great on the trails and in the mountains and rocks...very independent and not barn or buddy sour. He has worked cattle and been roped off of. He will go all day long. We recently used Pongo to brand 40 calves. His job was dragging them to the fire (with a 165 lb. man on his back, try doing that on your everyday pony). He is a real head turner at the gymkhanas or where ever he is at. This pony is drop dead gorgeous and 100% sound. Pongo loves people and attention. He is good to shoe, clip, load and all the "regular stuff" too. It’s important to us Pongo goes to a family with at least one or more members who will be riding him. We have put lots of time into this pony and we do not want to see this pony waisted as a yard ornament. He likes to have a job and a life. All photos shown have been taken in the last 2-3 months.
