He’s been used around the ranch to do everything. He’s gathered, sorted, and trailed cattle – both in the pasture and in corrals. Slim has drug calves at brandings and he has been used to rope and doctor cattle – yearlings to cows. He’s been used for ponying colts and most importantly … PLEASURE riding! Slim handles very well – he’s soft, supple, and responsive to both leg cues and neck reining. Given time off, this horse will saddle up and ride off the same way as before. Slim is well tuned and ready to go do any job you want to do. This gelding has great manners and is easy to be around. He covers country well – walks right out, a trot that covers country as fast as some horses lope, and he is a smooth ride at the lope. And, when you open him up – hang on! Ride him for fun, gather cows, or take him to the arena. Work will be fun and quick on Slim!
