Description:
Our family owned commercial cattle operation is seeking to fill a full time position to assist with daily operations. This cow-calf operation is located in Turner, MT, 30 miles north of Highway 2. Daily cattle work is mostly done with ATVs, however horses are more than welcome. Spring chores consist of calving out first time heifers, feeding replacement heifers, and checking old cows daily through the calving season. Summer is busy with fence/facility maintenance, pasture rotation/management, and hay production. Fall chores include fence/facility maintenance, preconditioning calves, preparing for weaning, and pregnancy testing cows. Winter months consist of feeding and checking cattle daily.



We are providing housing in a 5 bedroom ranch house on the east side of our ranch. A ranch pickup will be provided, as well as gas in the pickup when travelling locally. $200/month grocery allowance is provided as well. Other benefits include health insurance, most Sundays off (depends on busy times), and a flexible work schedule in slow months (winter).



We will require a $800 cleaning deposit on the house and a driving record report. This allows us to check insurance requirements prior to employment.
