The Property in Brownwood has not had a professional ranch manager in the past and the owners are ready to have an experience individual come in and turn it into the wildlife and entertainment property it has the potential to become. The owner has always hunted the ranch with family, friends and guests and wants to do something more on the private level. Currently, he is building new lodging and is ready to get the ranch under a management plan that it has never seen. He also lives on a 100 acre property near Tyler, Texas and would like for this individual to drive over once a week to make sure the property is being looked after by the contracted grounds crew. As the manager of this man’s properties your role would include but not be limited to: The overall management and oversight of all aspects of his ranch properties, writing and carrying out wildlife management plans, guiding and scouting game, entertaining guests, cleaning and processing game, vehicle maintenance, overseeing construction and maintenance projects, planting food plots for deer, turkey and dove, operating heavy equipment, manage the facilities and lawn care, water systems care, lake and pond care and other general ranch duties. The housing provided will be on the ranch in Brownwood. We are looking for a manager that has vision for improvement as the landowner would like this place to become a “show place”. Qualifications: • Must have previous ranch management experience or asst. manager experience • Wildlife Background • Can operate heavy equipment such as tractors, shredders, backhoe • Good with guest relations • Goal Oriented • Must be driven and self-motivated • General cattle experience (25-50 head) • Clean and process game animals Please send resumes and references to graingerranchrecruiting@gmail.com with "Brownwood" as the subject line.
