He has been building cowboy gear since the 1970’s. He does a really nice job. They are marked with his stamp on the belt. He builds real cowboy using gear and has built chaps and chinks for many cowboys throughout the US and Canada including working cowboys on the JA Ranch, LS Ranch and Bell Ranch. These chaps are made out of about 5 ½ ounce gold/orange colored chap leather rough side out. This is good quality durable leather. They are trimmed in the same leather smooth side out. The yokes and stiffeners are triple thick. They have a heavy harness leather belt, fringe, stainless belt buckle, stainless tie ring and twenty stainless conchos. The chaps have two inside pockets. These would be a great pair of using chaps.
