Description:
These are one iron, one raising, "True Blues" out of Grey Brahman cows and Registered Hereford Bulls that were selected for their high yearling weights.



These heifers got bred for their first time during the drought of 2008 & 2009 in McMullen County, Texas west of Tilden. Talk about FERTILE!



They have maintained their body condition with practically NOTHING to eat in the last eight months. These may be some of the hardiest cattle we have had in a long time. They will weigh from 950-1050 today and have been on the gain since they got home April 20th.



These gentle heifers are all calfhood vaccinated and most are tigerstripe motley faced and chocolates. There are only about 5 or 6 red motley faces on them and they are outstanding!



NINETY day calving! The pasture has gotten better and better since the cattle arrived and it has been raining every week or two all summer. These photos were taken around the first of June so you can imagine how the calves have grown since. We fully worked all the calves the week of August 1 and re-wormed the mamas and the babies. The bulls are being held off of them for the Fall breeding season so that you can breed them to the bulls of you choice.
