She was started when she was 2 and has always been in a feedlot, yearling, and cow-calf ranch (Snake Creek Ranch) since she was started. She has Doc O’Lena, Lena’s Bonita, and CD O’lena on her papers. She has a truck load of cow sense and can "get down" on a cow. She has roped yearlings (on grass and in the feedlot), cows, and bulls out on pasture and has drug calves to the fire at brandings. You can doctor cattle by yourself and she will hold a rope tight while your doctoring. She also loads and unloads easily from the trailer and stands well while she is being shod. This mare can handle anything that is thrown at her. She has been shown in ranch rodeos and working cowhorse shows. She is being sold at the Historic Deadwood Horse Sale on May 2, 2010 at 1 p.m. with a preview at 9 a.m.. She is lot # 72 in the sale.
