Description:
Eastern Montana ranch needs ranch hand/cowboy for all phases of ranch work. Most of your time will be spent riding and caring for cattle in the pasture. Horses are provided and you must be able to ride and work with a variety of horses, from starting colts to tuning up problem horses. Fall cattle work consists of moving, sorting, weaning, vaccinating, preg checking, shipping, as well as day to day livestock care. Fall horse work consists of halter breaking colts, moving horses, starting colts, and continue training on started horses. Ability to trim and shoe preferred. Other fall work may include fencing, moving hay, checking water pastures salt, general maintenance, and other assorted ranch jobs. This is a year round position if you have the skills we need.
