Cowherd Manager



Our client is looking for an outstanding person to join their organization as the day-to-day manager of their cowherd. They have a sizable commercial herd and are looking for someone who will take care of their cows as if they were their own.



If you have:

•Experience with managing the day-to-day requirements of a cowherd of 500 or more mother cows

•Excellent communication skills and a track record of keeping owners, coworkers, and employees informed of what is going on in the operation

•A strong work ethic and a willingness to help out in the other aspects of the operation (feedlot and farm)

•An ability to identify tasks that need to be completed and a sense of urgency for getting things done



Then this is the job for you! Our client is looking for someone to make a long-term commitment to the operation. The right person will be treated exceptionally well.



Compensation for this role is competitive. A vehicle for company use and beef are benefits that are provided. Housing is not provided. A health insurance allowance and an opportunity to run your own cows on the ranch will be considerations for the perfect candidate.
