Description:
This is a used pair of handmade step in bell chaps made by Clint Gregory of Post, Texas. They are not maker marked. The body of the chaps is made out of about five ounce gold chap leather rough side out. The yokes are the same leather smooth side out. They have one outside pocket, fringe, a nickel plated steel tie ring, and a stainless belt buckle. The back of the thighs are reinforced by doubling the leather and buckstitched around the leg opening. The leather is scalloped down the leg by the fringe and the yokes and stiffeners are buckstitched with brown lace leather. They have a braided leather front tie. There are not any holes or tears in the leather and the belt is in good shape and none of the fringe is missing. There are stains from use. These would be a great pair of using chaps that have lots of life left in them.

Upper Thigh – a snug 24”

Length (outside top of yoke to bottom) – 38”

Knee - 17”

Fringe – 5 Ό”

Tie Ring outside diameter – 2 ½”

Belt Strap Width – 1”

Leather Weight – about 5 ounces
