Description:
This is a used handmade heavy duty poinsettia tooled breast collar made by Larry Clark of Canyon, Texas. Larry learned saddle making from Bob Marrs of Amarillo, Texas and worked for him for many years and has since built a name for himself. It has stainless D’s made by Terry Alward of Dumas, Texas. Terry is listed in Bits and Spurs, Motifs, Techniques and Modern Makers by Ned and Jody Martin and he does really nice work. Terry is one of spur makers selected to provide spurs for the Texas Style Bit and Spur Makers Association Woman’s Protective Services auction along with other top makers. The D’s and the breast collar are maker marked.

The breast collar is made out of skirting leather and is lined and stitched around the outside edges. The tugs have stainless buckles. There is some cracking on the leather lining from use but it has a lot of life left in it. This would be a nice breast collar to use.
