Description:
This is a pair of lightly used handmade step in bell chaps made by Wes Klein from Amarillo, Texas. Wes is a part time maker who has cowboyed on various ranches but is mainly training horses and building gear now. They are maker marked with his stamp on the belt. The chaps are made out of about 4 ½ to 5 ounce brown colored chap leather rough side out. The stiffeners are the same leather smooth side out and are buckstitched around the edges. The yokes are skirting leather tooled with a wheat stalk. They have a heavy harness leather belt, eight stainless conchos, stainless belt buckle, and nickel plated steel tie ring. The belt is attached to the chaps with a copper rivet. The chaps were let out to fit a bigger thigh. Please see measurements below. This would be a nice pair of using chaps.
