Casey learned saddle making from the famed saddle maker Eddie Collie in Amarillo, Texas. He moved to Cimarron, New Mexico and owns and operates a western store and saddle shop called Cimarron West. They are marked with his stamp on the belt. The body of the chaps is brown leather smooth side out made out of about five and a half ounce leather. The yokes are basket stamped skirting leather. They have two inside pockets with flaps and heavy duty brass zippers. There are no holes or tears in the leather. The chaps have all stainless hardware and a new belt. At the bottom of the right leg someone marked the leather with a brand in the shape of a V that is barely noticeable unless you look close. There are a couple of pen marks on the bottom of the left leg. This is a nice pair of shot gun chaps that have not been used that much made by a well-known maker. Measurements: Waist -34” to 43” Upper Thigh – 23” ** Length (outside top of yoke to bottom) – 40 ¼” Inseam – 29” Knee – 19” Fringe – longest 3 ¾” and tapers down Yoke Conchos Diameter – 1 ½” Pocket Conchos Diameter – 1 ¼” Tie Ring outside diameter – 2 ⅛” Belt Strap Width – ¾” Leather Weight – about 5 ½ ounce **These chaps have inside pockets so you should make an allowance for fit. Would fit someone with a thigh size of about 22 ¾” Shipping: The price includes USPS priority shipping with tracking anywhere in the upper 48 United States.
