Want to work for a Ranch / Feedlot that is honest with good values also. Not looking for something short term I am looking for something long term and permanent. I grew up on a ranch, as the son of a rancher in South Dakota. I have over 15 years of experience on ranch /feedlot working cattle. I look at ranching as a business. I love to be out in the open space, looking at a herd of beef on the hoof as much as the next cattleman, but realize unless those grazing cattle and or feedlot cattle turn a profit at the end of their season then the whole ranch or operation will go under. I have over 15 years of experience as a Ranch Manager / Feedlot working cattle. I love the ranch life, and want to work for a ranch that has the same outlook. Some of my qualifications are as follows but not limited to: * profoundly gifted knowledgeable and result- oriented ranch manager with huge background in managing the overall daily operation of a ranch / feedlot; providing supervision and direction to staff. * remarkable ability to work with cattle or horses in heat, cold, rain Etc. and handle emergencies situations calmly. * ability to handle life stock in a humane and low stress manner while multitasking. * profound knowledge of livestock inventory, and feedlot management proficient with animal production system * supervised up to six employees * operate all farm, ranch and construction / heavy equipment * doctor, process and sort cattle ( Ranch to feedlot setting) * calving ( cows and heifers ) and foaling mares * irrigation * rotational grazing timber & grass land * hauling cattle and hay * mechanically inclined * class A CDL * farrier since 1997 * hauling cattle and hay * bookkeeping, computers * start colts and problem horses from to show. * work well independently or with a team * managed cattle livestock of feedlot / ranch and movement of cattle.
