Description:
This is a used pair of handmade step in bell chaps made by Clint Gregory of Encino, New Mexico. They are marked with his stamp on the belt. The body of the chaps is made out of about five to five and a half chap leather rough side out. The yokes are brown chap leather smooth side out. They have two inside pockets and stainless hardware. The yokes, pockets, and stiffeners are buckstitched. The back of the thighs are reinforced with an extra piece of leather that is sewn around the leg opening. There are no holes or tears or missing fringe. There are a few stains from use. Clint builds a good pair of using chaps. There is an extra set of slots in the legs so you could let these out 2” by re-lacing the legs.



Measurements:

Waist -32” to 39”

Upper Thigh – 25” as currently laced or could re-lace for a thigh size of 27” **

Length (outside top of yoke to bottom) – 39 ½”

Knee – 19 ½”

Fringe – longest 6” and tapers down

Tie Ring outside diameter – 2 ⅛”

Belt Strap Width-1 1/16”

Leather Weight – about 5 to 5 ½ ounce



**These chaps have inside pockets so you should make an allowance for fit. Would fit someone with a thigh size of about 24 Ύ” as currently laced or 26 Ύ” re-laced in the second set of slots.
