This is a pair of used handmade tapaderos made by Oliver Saddle Shop located in Amarillo, Texas. The taps are stamped with their maker’s stamp. Oliver’s makes quality leather goods and has been in business since 1917. They are made out of heavy Hermann Oak skirting leather rough side out. They have galvanized bound wood overshoe Visalia stirrups. There are a few scuffs from use and wood is cracked on one of the stirrups as shown in a close up picture. They should hold up fine to use. These taps have not been ridden that much and have a lot of life left in them.
