Description:
This is a used pair of handmade step in bell chaps that are not maker marked. The body of the chaps is made out of about five ounce rust colored chap leather rough side out. The yokes are skirting leather and some of the stitching is missing. They are glued down so the yokes should not come loose. They have cream rough side out trim down the legs, fringe, and on the stiffeners. The stiffeners are heavily weighted on these chaps with two layers of chap leather and a layer of heavy skirting leather. The yokes and the bottom pocket trim are hand stitched. The stiffeners, top of the pocket and legs are buckstitched with black lace leather. They have one inside pocket, a nickel plated tie ring and stainless conchos down the legs. There are some stains from use. A concho is missing at the front tie and at the bottom of one leg. There are no holes or tears. These would be a great pair of using chaps.

Waist - 31” to 43”

Upper Thigh – 22 ½” **see note below

Length (outside top of yoke to bottom) – 37 ½”

Knee – 17 ½”

Tie Ring outside diameter – 1 7/8”

Front Tie Concho diameter – 1”

11 Conchos diameter – 1 ½”

Fringe – 3”

Belt Strap Width – 7/8”



** The inside pocket is thick skirting leather so an allowance should be made to accommodate the inside pocket. These chaps would fit someone with an upper thigh of about 22”.
