Description:
Summit Farms, LLC a large diversified farming operation, is looking for an experienced, mature Cattle Foreman to lead a progressive, commercial and registered cattle operation in our Springview, Nebraska location.



Candidate should be a “hands on” leader with effective communication skills and the ability to effectively manage and motivate a work crew.



In addition to managing the crew, position responsibilities include overall cow herd management, which includes (but is not limited to) calving, herd health, AI (or ability to manage for AI program), record keeping, forage management, and yearling heifer and bull management. The foreman will oversee the yearling cattle operation (grass, stalks and grow yard) and must be able to process and manage incoming bawling calves and weaned calves.



Candidate must be willing to work both outside and in an office setting as needed, and will be expected to assist in the creation and management of the cattle operation budget.
