Description:
PHYSICALLY FIT INDIVIDUAL NEEDED. We are a privately owned ranch West of Fort Worth,

TX, no outside trainers or horses. We travel

extensively. We are looking for an individual that

can live on our property and treat it as if it was

their own. You must be able to handle the TEXAS

HEAT!! We have everything from a pot bellied pig,

cats & dogs, a few sheep for starting cattle dogs,

cattle (approximately fifty head), horses

(approximately twenty head, cutters, pleasure &

reining, many retired, a few babies). Pasture and

property, fences to mend/paint when needed, cat

boxes, dog kennels to horse stalls/corrals to

clean, lawns and landscaping to keep up. Must have

experience with farm equipment, trucks and

trailers, doctoring large and small animals,

recognize when an animal is sick, handling horses

and cattle to small animals. Comfortable and able

to drive a truck and trailer with animals. Days

off are not set, and usually during the week, and this job

will entail that you are "on call" some of the

time. Salary (will depend on experience),

utilities, and housing provided. Must have five

YEARS experience with horses in a professional

setting i.e. show barn, and references. There is

no personnel to supervise,you are responsible for

the ranch and the animals on the ranch. You will

also deal with feed vendors. We will consider a

married couple, without children. U.S. Citizenship

and a valid Drivers License required.
