North Central Montana Horse Ranch is interested in hiring a temporary employee to help with the

upcoming foaling season. Those seeking a temporary full time job are encouraged to apply.



We will begin doing phone interviews immediately - and intend to hire someone soon!



Unless our needs change, applicants should expect this position to come to and end around the last day of May.



We are looking for a person to assist in everyday operation of our Quarter Horse ranch. This would

include but is not limited to, checking for herd health, feeding, maintaining salt, mineral and water,

helping foal out mares, cleaning stalls and corrals, fitting sale horses, stocking and cleaning feed storage

rooms, operating equipment, wrangling, some doctoring, hauling horses, and everyday barn cleanup.



ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT HEAVY BALES OF HAY, BAGS OF SHAVINGS AND DO MANUAL RANCH WORK.



Skills and experience in the following would be a plus:

- Foaling out broodmares, night checking and care of newborn foals.

- Fitting horses for sale.

- Participating in heard health and maintenance including giving vaccinations, doctoring and assisting the farrier.

- Operating various equipment: trucks and trailer, snow cat, skid loader and tractor.



Compensation for this job includes a monthly wage and housing. Housing includes all utilities paid plus TV and High Speed Internet.
