Description:
Needed immediately - cowboy to start/ride/train colts and correct/train older horses, as well as be available for normal day to day ranch work - feeding cattle and horses, maintenance, calving, etc. Much of the riding will be in a ranch working situation, although an indoor barn is available. Applicant needs to know how to ride and rope, doctor cattle outside, calve, etc. Farrier skills a plus. We ride and train a lot of horses - efficiency and discipline are critical to turning out something we can be proud of. Must be able to handle horses of all levels, from untouched colts to finished rope horses, as well as ride the ones that buck or have other bad habits. Ranch life experience required - this is not for the Wanna Be. If you don’t truly enjoy horses of all types, this isn’t the job for you.
